Job Description

Job Title: Worship Leader/Choral Director
Reports to: Pastor

The person who accepts the position of Worship Leader/Choral Director should be committed to The Lord Jesus, the local church and his/her own spiritual growth and his/her character should bare witness to such.


1. The primary function of this position is a leadership role in worship services.

2. The Worship Leader/Choral Director shall select all choral selections to be sung by the choir.

3. Music selections shall be made in consultation with the Pastor.

4. Choir practice will rehearse weekly led by Worship Leader/Choral Director.

5. Shall provide leadership for and make musical selections for special presentations such as VBS and seasonal special music programs.

6. These duties are to be carried out according to the wishes of the Pastor and Board of Deacons.

The Worship Leader/Choral Director shall be granted two Sundays annually with pay. Additional time may be granted at the discretion of the Board of Deacons and with the approval of the church.
