Christian Music Director (Worship Leader) Needed for Contemporary Worship Band


Jubilee Missions is currently looking for a Music Director (Team Leader) of our Contemporary Worship Band with both Christian leadership and experience in conducting a Worship Band. This is an opportunity for you to use your gifting for God’s glory!

We at Jubilee Missions believe that God’s gifting to each one of us will be most meaningful when used for His Kingdom and His Righteousness. When done so, we can each be part of God’s work in redeeming the arts. Particularly here in New York City, the entertainment capital of the world, we challenge people in this city to radically change our arts culture for God by being a part of this mission in Jubilee Missions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Part-time ministry position to lead a contemporary worship band of 15 people.
-Planning, preparation and directing of rehearsals and events.
-Create an atmosphere of community and support at each rehearsal and event.
-In all rehearsals, include prayer, fellowship, and scripture.
-Submit, cooperate, and support the leadership of Jubilee Missions.

QUALIFICATIONS:
-Christian in life, speech, and action.
-Committed to living for the Lord, by knowing and following the Word of God.
-Desire to see excellence in the arts for Christ.
-Have experience in Christian leadership and artistic leadership.

TIME COMMITMENT:
-From August 2008 to August 2009
-Rehearsals once a week


Team Leaders in Jubilee Missions are volunteers, which means it is an unpaid position. Jubilee Missions staff and leadership are also unpaid volunteers, supported through sponsors. We ask that all Team Leaders to be financially supported outside of Jubilee Missions.
