Bethesda Christian Church in Sterling Heights, Michigan is seeking a full-time Associate Music Director.

Responsibilities for this position include:
• Leading worship for multiple weekly services
• Facilitating team rehearsals
• Selecting and arranging music for services
• Recruiting and scheduling volunteers for worship team and musicians
• Contributing to creative team meetings
• Interfacing with Senior Pastor and other church staff

The ideal candidate will possess:
• A true heart for worship
• Strong vocal performance skills
• Proficiency with a lead instrument (preferably piano/keyboard)
• Experience leading worship
• Ability to read and write music / chord charts
• Wide knowledge of and appreciation for both contemporary and traditional music

This position will report to the Director of Arts Ministries, and will serve the music needs of adults as well as collegiate and youth services.
