Wanted – Church Pianist

Westside Unitarian Universalist Church is looking for a pianist to play during their Sunday services (11 am – 12 pm). The pianist will typically play several instrumental pieces per service, as well as accompaniment on 2 hymns. Every other week, the pianist practices with and accompanies the choir. Periodically, the pianist will have extra rehearsals with the music director or choir, as well as accompanying other vocalists as needed.

Applicants must:
· Have experience as a church pianist or accompanying choir/choral groups
· Be able to choose and perform solo works
· Be skilled at sight reading
· Be dependable

Compensation:
· $100 per Sunday service
· $45 extra on choir Sundays
· $22.50 per 30 minutes of practice time to accompany musicians other than choir
· 4 paid Sundays off per year
