Worship Team Member Roles

Team member roles free up the leader to lead, instead of doing all the work. This is very important as leaders can become overburdened and miss the mark of what God has called them to. Don't become one of them - ask for help and delegate.
A well-rounded team fulfills these roles.
    Chaplain...


      Takes charge of group prayer times, devotions, Bible study before, or after rehearsals.



    Prayer Warrior...

      Bathes the worship service, leaders and participants in prayer. Prays for physical and spiritual health, God's glorification, people would connect to God in deeper ways yielding transformed lives.



    Producer...

      Keeps track of details like what equipment is needed, microphones, direct boxes, cables, etc; coordinates clothing color selection, takes charge of stage look and personnel placement.



    Rehearsal Technician...

      Makes sure everything is working when using the PA, and help with mixing.



    Librarian...

      Makes sure words are correct and ready for projection. Makes sure musicians are using the same chart.



    Scheduler...

      Coordinates who serves each week. Fill whatever slots need to be filled. Notifies worship leader about current week staffing.
