Hello , my name is Michael Ware i am a Talented Organist & Drummer that's looking for a black Baptist church or COGIC Church in Los Angeles , Ca or Long Beach , Ca I'm looking for a Church that will accept me the way i am i don't read music but , if you heard me play you would love me. I PREFER TO PLAY A C 3 HAMMOND ORGAN BUT IF YOU HAVE A B 3 HAMMOND ORGAN THAT'S FINE , I DON'T LIKE TO PLAY THE PIANO BECAUSE OF THE WEIGHTED KEYS I'M SO USE TO PLAYING THE C 3 HAMMOND ORGAN. I have had several offers here in saint Louis , mo where i currently live from $375 to $450 but , i turned them down because i was already playing at my home Church. A lot has changed since then the cost of living has really gone up & playing for my home Church was how i made my money , i wasn't getting much but i am looking for a new Church to play for because My home Church can't afford me anymore since i asked for a raise. I started out playing the drums at my home Church when i was 12yrs old that was my first instrument then i started playing the piano. I have a passion for the Organ i love the way that organ sound , I play by ear the lord has blessed me with a gift that i really appreciate , i could play for R&B bands or Jazz & Blues bands if i wanted too but i chose to give God his praise on the instruments. I'm 25yrs old with no kids but I'm truly blessed , all i am asking for is a fair chance to prove myself & praise the Lord the way i know how. At my Church i wasn't able to teach songs or rearrange songs like i wanted too , they wouldn't allow it unless they thought of it first. I have a passion for music i also write songs as well but , my pastor is very old fashion & that's not the problem but i can't grow like i want to at my home Church. They only wanted me to play the songs & they refuse to allow me to teach any songs or parts , i am looking for a Church that's willing to pay their musician very well & treat their musician right & like family. I get along with everyone i might be young but i really love the Lord with all my heart & i give him all the praise every chance i get. I don't want to be over looked because i can't read music there's a lot of great musicians that plays very well & cannot read music , & they play for a Church some play for more than one Church. please contact me by email mysalvation2008@yahoo.com or by phone (314)-395-7435 please don't take this the wrong way but , since i will have to relocate the price has to be worth it i will not relocate for a cheap price. i will be leaving everything behind & starting over fresh which means i will have to find a place to stay as well as get a car.
