Part time Worship Leader at Wyckoff Reformed Church

Do you feel the calling to be part of a growing ministry? We are seeking a creative, motivated, energetic musician and leader who puts God first in all things.

Overview: The Genesis Worship Music Leader shall lead the congregation in worship through song and word. The Genesis Worship Music Leader is responsible for welcoming worshipers into the presence of God and sharing the word of God and the news of Jesus Christ through the use of song and prayer.

Major Responsibilities:
1. Plan worship with the minister for the Sunday Worship Service and any special services. Meeting weekly with the minister regarding the service and the text for the week.

2. Actively recruit new members to participate in the music ministry.

3. Plan and lead mid-week rehearsals.

4. Be responsible for set-up and tear-down of equipment for rehearsals, Sunday worship, and other special services.

5. Meet with Genesis Worship Team at their regular monthly meeting during the even-numbered calendar months, excluding the summer months.

Salary/Hours and Benefits

10 hours weekly. Salary commensurate with experience.
