CHURCH KEYBOARDIST POSITION
The Church Keyboardist is dedicated to sharing the gift of music with the people of God in worship. For this reason, the keyboardist must be a Christian who is in agreement with the church?s Essentials of Our Faith.

The Keyboardist will:

? Be familiar with electronic keyboards and use the church?s to its fullest capabilities.
? Play for three Sunday services (8:15, 9:30, and 10:45) including accompanying hymns, accompanying choir anthems, solos, groups, etc., and providing appropriate background music to enhance worship.
? Accompany Sunday Chancel Choir rehearsals.
? Accompany Wednesday evening Rejoice Choir rehearsals.
? Accompany any extra rehearsals set by the Choir Director (usually one Saturday morning a month).
? Play for any extra services during Lent and Advent.
? Participate in meetings of the Ministry of Creative Arts.
? Understand that any gratuities (weddings or funerals) will be through the particular persons involved and will be at the discretion of the Keyboardist and not the responsibility of the church.
? Arrange for a substitute in the event of absence with consultation of the Pastor.
? Adhere to the church?s Employee Handbook.

The Pastor will supervise the Keyboardist in cooperation with the Ministry of Creative Arts and the Ministry of Personnel.
Changes in the responsibilities will be made by mutual agreement of the Keyboardist and the Pastor with cooperation of the Ministry of Personnel.
Salary will be negotiated with the Pastor and Ministry of Personnel.
