Organist/Pianist

Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, Hapeville, GA area. Organist/pianist for 200 member family-oriented church.

Part-time, less than 10 hours per week which includes two one-hour services on Sunday (11:00am and 7:00pm) and one hour Chancel Choir practice on Thursday (7:30pm).

Approximately three hours practice time expected. Mainline music, classical to contemporary traditional services (PM more informal).

Responsibilities include playing for hymns, choral responses, offertory, anthems and special music.

Chancel Choir music is usually Pine Lake Top 25 and accompaniment is mainly piano (Bosendorfer Grand).

Two manual Allen organ. Some experience desired and good piano skills necessary. Salary and benefits commensurate with education, skills, and experience.
