Organist/accompanist

Desert Hills Presbyterian Church is seeking a parttime organist and choir accompanist.

This person will be expected to play for two services on Sundays and serve as accompanist for a mid-week rehearsal. In addition, the musician may be asked to play for additional rehearsals as needed and work with soloists as needed.

Expected qualifications include fluency on both organ and piano, sight reading and part reading. Advance practice and preparation are considered part of the job.

The organist/accompanist answers to director of music and to the pastor.

Desert Hills Presbyterian is located in Yucca Valley, California, approximately 20 minutes from Palm Springs.
