Organist & keyboard musician part time NW Chicago suburbs

Church of the Cross, PCUSA, is looking for an organist for Sunday 10:30 am service and choir practice. Piano accompanyment is also required. Instruments: Rodgers 2 manual organ, Yamaha Clavinova keyboard.

COTC is looking for an individual with special skills in playing the organ and piano. This individual must have the ability to sight-read music, take direction from the church’s pastor and music director, as well as work as a team member in the music ministry of the church.

This is a salary position and responsibilities include rehearsals with the choir and Praise Band, and all scheduled worship services (Sundays and special holiday services) and other occasions in support of the music ministry of the church. This person will need to be available September 1 through May 31.

A drug screen and back round check will be required.

Interviews will be scheduled upon review of the applications.
