Glenn Dale UMC near Greenbelt MD (and NASA Space Flight Center) currently has a need for a Music Director.

This is a 10 hour per week paid position. The candidate is in charge of all the musical needs for the church and should be able to play the organ and/or piano/keyboard proficiently.

He/She should be able to conduct at least 3 different choirs- Traditional, Contemporary and Children's com

posed of persons with varying vocal skill levels. It is required that this person be a strong accompanist and be capable of playing traditional hymns, contemporary music, anthems, and gospel and spirituals.

In exchange we offer a salary range of $9,200 up to $12,500, plus 2 weeks paid vacation and first refusal to play weddings and funerals for additional income.
