The Minister of Music—a Part-time position—will join a multi-staff team and a dynamic congregation committed to building God's Kingdom. With an emphasis on contemporary worship within a charismatic context and a liturgical framework, this person will have primary responsibility for planning, developing, leading, and growing our worship ministries.

The applicant should have a strong vision for music and the arts in worship, be experienced in leading worship, skilled on the keyboard, and be able to work in a variety of musical styles appropriate to both liturgical and contemporary worship services, as well as be able to use creative and visual arts including drama and multimedia within the context of a worship environment.

Candidates must also have musical, organizational and relational gifts, give oversight to worship teams, exercise good stewardship of resources, and demonstrate pastoral leadership ability.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Serve as minister and shepherd to the worship teams, emphasizing teamwork, fellowship and healthy communication amongst the members.
2.In consultation with the pastors, plan and lead the worship at our weekend services.
3.Lead and rehearse a modern worship band and vocal team and to develop talent within our church and worship ministry.

4.Oversee the recruitment, organization and scheduling of volunteers in the music ministries, sound and media teams.
5.Attend weekly staff meetings and serve as a member of the Worship Ministry Team.
6.Supervise the development of children and youth musical ministries as opportunities permit, in consultation with Children's and Student/Youth staff leaders.
7.Provide musical support to other church services as needed.
8.Consult with and respond to groups requesting media and sound support for church events.
9.Other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
1.A vital and growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
2.A passion to worship God through both traditional and contemporary styles of worship.
3.Accomplished musician and worship leader who has a definite sense of call to the ministry.
4.Proven ability to lead a rehearsal, train support staff, and develop teams for music, vocals, drama, and audio visual ministry
5.Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
6.Knowledge of a wide range of Christian worship music and an ability to integrate musical variety into the worship services.
7.Supervising, recruiting & equipping worship bands, as well as vocal, drama, art and technical teams.
8.Proficiency in sound and multi-media
