Minister of Music (choir director and/or organist-pianist)

Historic and lively Northern California UCC church, seeking a musician (or two) to love us and lead us while our current director is on an extended sabbatical.

Position begins October 1, 2008, and goes through January 31, 2010, with the option to negotiate a job-share on her return.

Direct choirs: Adult, Youth & 2 children's groups
Organist/pianist for worship, accompany choirs
Beautiful instruments (9-rank tracker organ, lovely 1901 Steinway piano, 3 octaves of Malmark handbells and choir chimes)

Worship is mostly traditional, but has a lively and blended feel.
