Church Musician Guitar Links

The best guitar links are the ones you refer to over and over again. My favorite guitar instruction sites are listed on this page. Finding a teacher used to be the only way to learn to play guitar. Now, when that’s not practical, you can try out these guitar links to get you started.

Guitar Lessons for beginners. Easy-to-follow, step-by-step guitar lessons for beginner with detailedexplanations, pictures, diagrams, videos and more.

Learn to play the guitar. Anybody can learn to play the guitar and with my free guitar lessons for beginners, you can master some basic techniques and songs within two weeks of practice.

This first site provides a FREE starting point, and lots of links to explore. There are many more colorful sites, with better video, but they charge. But this can get you going in the meantime.

This next site is both a free course, and a paid one, if you want lifetime upgrades. I have found the free email course quite sufficient to learn the fret board. Although this may seem tedious, it is a good skill to master. To master notes and scales this has become one of my favorite guitar links.

The real thing... And not free. But if you're a visual learner, this may be all you need to get started. I can't find a site that sells the discipline you need to practice, however. :)

More online guitar lessons- and no, not free. I subscribe to this one. I find it easy to use - nice graphics. You can check it out for free, too. After you’ve benefited all you can from the free sites, this a logical next step when you are ready for an additional commitment.
