Hello,
I'm Fay, an experienced versatile pianist/organist who currently resides in Denver, CO. As a performer/educator/accompanist, one of my biggest assets is that I can "cover a lot of ground" in terms of genres and styles. I have the capability to play classics like G.F Handel's Messiah, and can turn around a "rock-out" with the 'praise band'. In conjunction, I have experience as a composer/arranger

I've earned a Master of Music degree in classical piano performance and am 18 credits shy of a doctoral degree in Jazz/Commercial music performance. I possess strong sightreading skills, knowledge and performance capacity of multiple genres and a well-developed sense of rhythm. In addition, have excellent improvisational and aural ability and can be true to the idiom!

My classical/musical theater background has afforded many opportunities as an accompanist. I've been performing multiple styles (jazz, blues, classical, Top 40, etc etc) professionally for nearly two decades which has given me a musical background rich in diversity!

My work ethic is strong, I have a positive pleasant attitude and I'm reliable. I take direction well and will do whatever is needed for the good of the music and all who are involved in its creation.

Denomination is not extremely important--as long as it's Christian-faith based and the overall vibe of
the congregation promotes a community who comes
together to praise God and give thanks!

I'm hoping and praying for something like what I just described to materialize. I've been searching for awhile and have made "the finals", so to speak, on several occasions. Yet thus far, I've yet to be the one selected.

I've dedicated over half of my life to my art and my craft. I worked extremely hard and believe I have a lot to offer. The old saying "A mind is a terrible thing to waste" is not race or gender specific. If something such as what I just described were to materialize, it would truly be "a Godsend"!
