Don't take that job unless...

I have been a worship leader for many years and many church styles. One thing in common with all churches, if the Pastor doesn't worship during your first visit...RUN. You will never teach your church to worship if the head Pastor does any of these things instead of worship.
1. reads sermon notes
2. talks to neighbors
3. walks out of the worship service for any reason
4. drinks coffee.

Please do yourself a favor and reject a worship leadership position in any church where the head pasotor is not a true worshiper.

You will never "fix" a church lead by a non-worshipper.
