Director of Worship, Music, and Fine Arts

The First Reformed Church of Mitchell, South Dakota, has an immediate opening for a part-time Director of Worship, Music, and Fine Arts. In conjunction with the pastor, the Director will be responsible to plan and coordinate the worship services through the incorporation of music, drama, dance, and visual arts in the traditional and contemporary styles of corporate worship and special programs in the church. The Director will recruit, coordinate, and lead volunteers for worship ministry. Further position information available at www.firstreformed.com.

Qualifications:
-Demonstrate a level of spiritual maturity and growth in the Christian faith.
-Familiar with and supportive of all worship and music styles.
-Possess and demonstrate musical expertise, both instrumental and vocal.
-Ability to work well with people of various age groups.
-Formal music education is desired but not required.
-Available to work a minimum of 20 hours/week.
