Director of Music and Worship Arts

Arvada United Methodist Church is seeking an experienced Director of Music and Worship Arts. This half-time position (20 hours per week, salaried) will begin no sooner than July 1, 2011 and will report directly to one of both of the Co-Ministers. This newly created position provides you exciting opportunities to develop the Music and Worship Arts program in new and creative ways.

AUMC is a dynamic 140 year old congregation in suburban Arvada, CO. We are a Reconciling Congregation that promotes progressive theology and social justice.

This position will develop and lead the Music and Worship Arts program at AUMC, which currently includes the Adult Choir, Children's Choir, Bell Choir and other musical groups. This position will direct the adult choir and coordinate with others who direct the remaining musical groups.
