Director of Contemporary Worship Arts

New Hope United Methodist Church is a theologically diverse and open congregation of 500 in Arnold, Missouri, a suburb of St. Louis.

We have an existing praise band of fifteen, previously professionally led. We are seeking a trained, preferably degreed, musician who can work with both trained and amateur musicians to present contemporary worship music, varying from country to up-tempo and rock.

The ideal candidate will be a keyboard player, able to prayerfully recruit and motivate praise band members, and act as worship leader of one contemporary service per week, perhaps to expand to two.

Salaried with 15-20 hour per week expectation. Compensation negotiable.
