Director of Contemporary Music

American Evangelical Lutheran Church in Prescott, AZ is seeking a Director of Contemporary Music. This part-time salaried position is approximately 30 hours per week -- pay DOE.

Formal or on-the-job training in Christian Contemporary Music is required, as well as a high school diploma or GED. Other requirements include a minimum of 1 year experience in each of the following:

- Instrumental and vocal contemporary Christian worship
- Working with a team of musicians
- Responsibility for selection and arrangement of music for instrumental and vocal worship ensemble
- Recruitment and training of worship musicians
- Administrative responsibility for working with church staff to prepare meaningful worship services
