Creative Arts Pastor (PT): Colorado, Contemporary Style, Evangelical

Grace Community Church is an evangelical church offering contemporary worship style and located in Centennial, Colorado, a growing Denver suburb. We are seeking a part time, paid Creative Arts Pastor to oversee volunteer music ministry and work as a team member alongside other GCC staff members.

Applicants must demonstrate:
• expert vocal, keyboard and/or acoustic guitar leadership in worship
• advanced skills, experience and training in music & stage leadership
• experience in thematic integration of music and media in worship, with themes defined by the lead pastor
• ability to integrate contemporary music and the arts into weekend worship experiences
• ability to recruit and develop vocalists and instrumentalists
• deployment of experienced volunteer stage musician and vocalist teams
• experience in supervising integrated operation of media, sound and lighting technologies
• ability to plan and synchronize schedules of volunteer musician teams using software technology such as Planning Center

Candidates must hold to evangelical theology and have a commitment to outreach and evangelism. A Bachelor degree in music, worship ministry, or related field is required. Large-church experience is desired and may qualify in lieu of degree. This is a 16-20 hour per week position.
