Church Accompanist / Pianist

Janes United Methodist Church seeks an accomplished pianist to play service music and accompany the choir at their 2 Sunday morning traditional services. Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:

-Select and prepare prelude, offertory, and postlude music for each Sunday, under the guidance of the Worship Director.

-Accompany the adult choir and/or other special music during worship.

-Accompany the adult choir during Thursday evening rehearsal.

This position requires about 4-5 hours per week at the church. We are offering an EXTREMELY COMPETITIVE SALARY.

There are opportunities for additional monies by playing for weddings and funerals at the church.
