The successful candidate will regard this position first as a ministry of the parish. The hiring position is as principle accompanist. Applicants must be proficient in playing contemporary, multicultural, and classical forms of music. He/she must be able to work with musicians and assist in developing young instrumentalists. Accompanist must also have good organizational skills and flexibility.

Averaging 16 hours a weeks, the accompanist is responsible for 4-6 masses a weekend, rehearsals, holy days of obligation, and feast days. The accompanist also receives first call for weddings, funerals, and special services.
