Your Church Musician Jobs Tip – Start Over

Maybe you've had a great year. It seems there are mixed reviews the more people I ask.

Whatever your response, the end of one year and start of a new one always provides an opportunity to start over. It might just be some music team housekeeping or cleaning your office so you can find your desk.

But, seriously, how is your team doing with getting along with each other?

It has been tough where I am. People are not doing well with rotating leaders. It's as if they have the thought that since no one is in charge all the time, they can do whatever they want. That might sound ok until the pastor's representative has something to say and encounters resistance.

For our team to start over this year we will be looking at attitudes surrounding serving together. We will reintroduce spiritual training into our times together.

Many of you are quite good at this, I'm sure. But for those of you, like me, who need a refresher, may I recommend the following? click here

Remember Psalm 133 - where there is unity God commands a blessing

May God bless you richly as you obey His call!

All the best,
Jim Snedeker
