I recently read a story that many of us can relate to, especially in these times of economic change.

The women of Brown Manor had finished raising their famlies and lived together. Battling feelings of uselessness they waited for their time to go to heaven. A passerby heard them singing one day, as was customary since one of the ladies played the piano inspiring the others to sing along. As the story goes, this one soul trusted Jesus that day through the response of hearing grateful hearts praising God.

Ecc. 5:20 expresses the idea that the writer seldom reflected on the days of his life, because God kept him occupied with gladness of heart. May you be occupied with gladness of heart as you consider all that God has in store for you.

I have learned there's more to providing for my family than only earning temporary income. That's the kind you get when you are working, but when you stop the income stops.
